Vranjača cave

Located in Dugopolje at the foot of Mount Mosor is one of the most important geomorphologic monuments of the region. From campsite it will take around 40 min drive (Road E65). Asphalt and macadam roads lead right up to the cave’s entrance. There are free parking just 100 meter from entrance. In 1929 the cave was opened to visitors and since then has attracted many excursionists. Rich fauna are part of this ornamental cave full of cave decorations, minerals and stalactites. We visited cave in September and we were really surprised of size and beauty of it. We were only visitors in that moment. Despite of that owner let us in the cave and told us a lot of interesting information. Lightning in the cave is very good so visitors can enjoy beauty of cave fully. This was best cave we ever have been in. We highly recommend it to other travelers. We paid 50 kuna per person. It was worth it.
